He graduated from THE Idaho Falls High School...just like the rest of us.
He is currently attending BYU Provo...just like three of his siblings before him.
But just because Greg has followed in the footsteps of his older brothers and sisters, please don't think that he hasn't carved out his own series of niches that set him apart from the rest of the herd.
For example, Greg has a very unique sense of style. His tee-shirt collection is legendary. The one pictured below is one of my favorites, but I am going to have to dedicate and entire post to his "Bear's Love People" shirt. Seriously. It is genius.
Greg's fashion sense has made him somewhat of a trend setter around our house. Even little Kylie-Monchichi tries to mimic his style.
And even in a family full of type A personalities with various and sundry quirks, his OCD-ed-ness has made him more endearing and beloved...like Mr. Monk.

Greg recently had another very unique experience, for the last 18 months he has been the only kid living at home with my folks. That makes him our family's one and only official "only child". (Sorry Jenny, you don't qualify for that title. Even though you were the only human child until I came along, you had to share the parents love and attention with the Pomeranians and, judging from the photos of the dogs being pushed in the strollers while you toddled along behind, I think they qualified as the "Children" and you were the "pet". Sorry.)
And now Greg is getting ready to follow in the footsteps of his dad, brother-in-law, three older brothers, and one beautiful, extremely intelligent older sister (the one who never had to compete for her parents love and attention with a dog) by serving a mission for the of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In fact, according to the Church missionary department website, his call is in the mail RIGHT NOW. So by this time next week, Greg will know where he will be spending the next two years of his life teaching and preaching the Gospel.
El Salvador (like John... He's the white guy, by the way) ...

And when that call arrives, Greg be unique in another way: His Mission Area...unless he is called to serve
in Florida (like Homely)...
El Salvador (like John... He's the white guy, by the way) ...Mexico (Like Warren...once again, he is the white guy) ....
Canada (Like me) ...
Italy (Like Moose) ...
Or Brazil (like Mikey, the current "Elder" in the family) .
But, before his call arrives and my parents (steam it open, read it, reseal it, and) take it down to Greg at BYU next weekend, we wanted to give everyone an opportunity to get in on the fun by playing the "Where in the World Will Elder Greggie H Go?" game.
Here's how it works: If you would like to make a guess as to where Greg will be called to labor, leave your guess in the comments below. The winner of the game will receive a gift certificate to Cold Stone Creamery, or another vendor of delicious frozen goodness if said winner does not live within a reasonable driving distance of a Cold Stone. You don't have to be related to Greg, or even know Greg to enter.

I think he is going to Argentina.
Which of the missions I do not know.
Kira would be home before he got there, but that would be pretty darn sweet!
And the T-shirt!! OH MY GOSH, I love it!
Derek has some really "sweet" ones like that.
My favorite is the one I got him for Christmas a couple of years ago, it says, " My mom says I am Special"
I'll go out on a limb and say Wisconsin. I hear it's beautiful this time of year. (Of course by beautiful I mean cold, 30 degrees below zero cold. Good times!!)
Lima, Peru or Lima, Ohio
Let's go with Texas. I don't think anyone has guessed in the south yet.
"Some dude"? Hahaha! Hmm.. I'm trying to think. I'm guessing...Alabama. Yeah. He seems like an Alabama-ish missionary.
Hmmmm...How about Phillippines?
Montana!
I think it would be awesome if he went to either Washington State or England.
